On Saturday, July 4th, at 10:30 am, the Vidor Lions Club invites the public to a re-dedication ceremony of their Veterans Park “Fields of Freedom.” In addition to honoring America, the public is invited to view the newly erected granite walls commemorating Vidor’s military veterans. The veterans park is co-located with the Raymond Gould Community Center and Park at the corner of Claiborne and Interstate 10.

On Friday, July 3rd, City of Vidor offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day. The roll off dumpsters will be closed on Saturday, July 4th. The Sanitation Department will run its normal Friday and Saturday routes.

Anyone desiring to make a payment to either the Sanitation Department or Municipal Court may use the appropriate drop box located in the rear parking lot of the City Hall Municipal Building. Please join the City of Vidor, the Vidor Lions Club, and Americans everywhere in celebrating 239 years of freedom.
