NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATIONS WEEK

THE CITY OF VIDOR THANKSYOU DISPATCHERS!

Just because my face isn't visible doesn't mean I'm not here saving your life. We show up on our days off, we stay late when it's time to leave, and we commit ourselves to being the calm voice on the other end of the line. We understand what a "bad day" at work truly means; we are the first to answer the call, yet we often remain unaware of the outcome. Though we may go unseen, our voices deserve to be heard.

In case you haven't felt appreciated today, know that you are valued. In case you thought about quitting today, please reconsider; you are essential. If you need someone to talk to but feel there is no one, many are willing to listen. If you haven't heard it today, let US say: THANK YOU!
