Our Mission

The City of Vidor’s Code Enforcement department’s mission is to maintain, protect, and improve the health, safety, and welfare of our citizens and guests. The Code Enforcement department’s responsibilities include: executing the duties of the Building Official for residential and commercial construction; serving as Flood Plain Administrator; enforcing applicable city ordinances; issuing of permits for various projects; and supervising electrical, plumbing, and HVAC inspectors.
